Four Years of Blogging

It's hard to believe that this little blog has been in existence for four years now today! (Though, before blogging I did have a bit of an online journal on my website hence the 2006 and 2007 posts that are on here now.) All together, those years have produced 818 posts and counting . . . . :)

What a wonderful and growing experience blogging has been . . . when beginning, I had no idea what many blessings would come from it! Not only do I enjoy being able to journal and record part of our lives in this way (which makes it fun to look back through the years and remember the memorable times), but I have also reaped the blessings of . . .

~ Getting to know so many sweet friends, several whom have become very dear friends.

~ Being inspired, convicted, and encouraged by you all through the comments that you leave here,
through visiting your all's blogs, through the e-mails that are sent, through letters that arrive in our mailbox, and more.

~ And the blessings that have perhaps been the greatest for me is your all's support that you have given and your prayers when we have gone through different things, and then also the great encouragement that you all have been to me in the Lord. These have meant so much to me!

You all have been a blessing . . . thank you so much for a wonderful four years and for making blogging so enjoyable to do!

And now, I'd like to turn this post over to you all . . . with one tiny little request that those reading please leave a comment and introduce yourself :), and just for fun, if you would like, answer the question of: "what is your favorite season?"

I look forward to hearing from you all!

  1. My favorite season is the changing season, especially in the autumn, when the light in the evening is golden and you can see the light outlined on each individual leaf on the tree and the sky is a blue-gray color full of expression.

  2. Has it really been just over three years that I have "known" you?! It has been so enjoyable to follow the growth and changes of your family and farm over the years. You are always inspiring me in some way, both in the spiritual things you share here or watching your physical talents in many different areas :).

As to what season is my favorite . . . that has changed a bit since we moved to North Carolina. Winter isn't necessarily the lowest on my list now :). Summer might be, though, because it is a little hot for me! I think fall has always been my favorite season, both because of the mild weather and the changing leaves.

I hope you have a blessed day, Sarah, and I look forward to another year of getting to know you even better!

  3. Happy Blogoversary, Sarah! Well done, you have written so many interesting posts in those four years, many of them illustrated with your beautiful photography. And your posts were reliably regular, unlike mine I have to admit. I'm blogging about crafting, mainly card-making, and although I never stop making things, there are times when I'm preoccupied by other things than blogging. But that's probably okay considering the fact that my less than ten followers are still there;) Anyway I hope to get my blogging mojo back some time this year.
My favourite season would be the north european summer! Less layers of clothing needed and whenever I go to lock my bicycle in our garden, I get to pick some fresh produce to eat right away...

  4. Wow Sarah what an achievement and I look forward to reading your blog for a long time to come.

Since I live in sub tropical Australia please understand that winter is the best time year. I sleep well and do feel hot all the time. Our winters are generally drier to and a welcome relief from humidity. Having said that we have had a much cooler summer and it is welcome.

  5. Hi Sarah,
It's been wonderful meeting and getting to know you! You're such a sweet young lady and have much wisdom and a huge heart for the Lord. :-) And you have a great talent for sewing and crochet. :-)
    Happy Blogaversary!

I think my favorite season would be spring, when new life is sprouting out all around. :-)

    Blessings to you,

  6. Congratulations on reaching 4 years of blogging, Sarah! I have really enjoyed reading your posts, and getting to know you some!

I think my favorite season is Autumn, when all the leaves are changing colors, it's a little chilly outside, the birds are flying south, and you can start wearing scarves =)

Blessings to you, Sarah! I hope you have a wonderful year!

    Love,
    Bethany

  7. Hi Sarah, As you know, I have talked with you a lot online. My favorite season would have to be Summer for many reasons. One is that my birthday's in the Summertime. Another thing that I love to have barbecues.

  8. Miss Sarah, your blog has been a source of joy and encouragement to me ever since I have found it. Your gentle yet fervent spirit is such a blessing to see throughout your blog, and your friendship as a sister in Christ is cherished.

    Continue to live for Christ...

    In Christ,
    ~Shannon~

PS~ MY favoirte season... hmmm, that would be winter, as it is so nice to get away from the hot weather!

  9. Hi Sarah,
Happy anniversary of your blog! I love reading your posts and enjoy how you share your faith and also how you delight in the everyday beauties of life.
I am writing to you from Northern Ireland. Like the last lady who has just responded to your blog, my favourite season is spring, when the trees are coming into leaf and the world is filled with the grandeur of God.
Thank you for reminding us of so many of God's blessings through your blog.
    Many thanks and best wishes,
    Anne in Ireland.

  10. I've very much enjoyed following your blog the last couple of years, Sarah...and "catching up" on reading all the years before that! It has been inspiring in many ways. I've especially appreciated seeing how it is very possible for young ladies to remain unjaded in this world, when they surrender their whole hearts to the Lord, and strive to please Him in every area of their lives.

I've lived in the midwest most of my life, and I can say firmly that Autumn is my favorite season. There's something about the crispness in the air...the cool nights and warm days...the aroma of woodsmoke. I love pulling out the warm sweaters, and cooking up a big pot of soup of chili. And the color show God demonstrates is unmatched. Such rich, deep blue skies...such vibrant reds and oranges and yellows wherever I turn my eye. I like to think that my "Autumn" years of life can be just as rich, colorful, stimulating, and comforting. Isn't it amazing how the seasonal changes are such an accurate metaphor of the different seasons of our lives? Just another one of God's word pictures!:-)

  11. Dearest Sarah,

Your blog has inspired me in more ways than I can say. You're a beautiful person inside and out. I sometimes think that if only the whole world was like you, what an awesome place it would be!!

I don't comment as much as I used to, but I've never missed one of your posts. If I open up my laptop and there's not a new post from you I feel so disappointed. (Like you have nothing else to do but blog, right? LOL)

Summer is my favorite time of year as most of our 10 grandchildren were born in summer or early fall. Ruby, our #10 and Carrie's #5, is 16 months old and quite a little doll. And by the way,..... grandchild number 11, Carrie's #6, will be here in July, 2012. We're so excited as it will probably be our last one.

I hope and pray you continue to blog and spread your love of God's word to others.

    Your sister in Christ,
    Miss Lila

ps When you have a cup of tea, think of me!

  12. I'm so glad you blog, Sarah; you encourage a large group of women - young and old - as is evidenced by the comments on this post. :)

I love keeping up with your life by reading your posts and seeing the pictures. Lately I have especially liked seeing your little niece grow. I am longing for February to be here so I can meet my first nephew!!!!! :) :)

My favorite season is spring, and I look forward to seeing all your garden posts and working in our own garden. I love to see the Lord causing all things to come forth new every year. :)

    Blessings on you, Sarah!
    Your sister in Christ,
    Amber

  13. Hi, my name is Shannah. I have been following your blog now for several months. You inspire me in lots of ways...one in particular is your girls group. It really reminds me to teach my girls how to be virtuous :) Congrats on 4 yrs of your blog! It seems like you have touched more hearts than you probably ever imagined, and in more places all around the world than you ever thought!
My favorite season is Fall. I love the amazing colors and smells! I love having campfires with the family and making smores :) And it just so happens that all 3 of our kids are Fall babies.
Well, thank you so much for all the wonderful posts. May God continue to bless you and your family.

  14. Greetings Sarah,

I've only recently discovered your blog and appreciate the care and devotion you put into your all posts. They are very uplifting; I think your blog is a real ministry and your faith shines through it. I also enjoy reading about your family and your daily activities. I live in Canada and autumn with all its mellow beauty is my favourite season, followed by winter (and we get real winters here!)

    Sincerely in Christ,
    Helena

  15. Hi Sarah,
I have been reading your blog for about 2 years now. Your love of the Lord and all of his creation is such an inspiration to me. I love to read about your everyday life on the farm and I like to see what new project you are working on. Thank you for sharing your life and your sweet family us (especially sweet little Adelyn). My favorite season is Spring because I finally get to plant my garden and it's warm enough to sit on my front porch and watch the birds.

  16. Congratulations Sarah on 4 years of blogging!

I live in Tasmania and my favourite season is autumn/fall. I love the cool, still weather, and soft sunshine. Winter is very wet here, spring is very unpredictable (wind, rain) and summer is too hot!

I am definitely a cool climate person!

  17. Congratulations Sarah! 4 years of blogging? Wow! I'm so glad that I stumbled onto your blog a little more than a year ago when looking for simple instructions to sew a Bible cover. But instead, I found so much more info besides the Bible cover post on your blog that interested me and I wanted to come back again and again! I can't wait to read what you'll write about in the next four years!

My favourite season is summer for so many reasons! Main one is going on vacation like camping!

Can I ask you a question? We're in the new year. By the way, Happy New Year Sarah! I'm interesting to know what kind of devotional book(s) are you doing for year 2012 and why? You don't have to answer it if you don't want to. :)

  18. so happy to have met you via blogging my friend;)

    ...my favorite season is fall.

I always am ready to wind down with it.
    The colors are intoxicating.
    I always feel so alive:)

    happy blogiversary!!!

  19. Congratulations, Sarah! I'm not sure but what I may be the most recent to discover your blog, and what a gem it is! It is such a blessing to encounter others who are living an authentic, Christ-centered, joyful life.

As far as the favorite season... For many years sweater weather, crunchy leaves under-foot, crisp air, and a birthday in October all served to make Fall my preference overall. While I do appreciate the changing of seasons and the beauty each one holds, Spring runs a close second if not first now as my favorite, as everything is coming to life and it is garden time (a skill which I am hoping to improve each year...and which, judging by your pictures, I think perhaps you should share some of your obviously successful techniques!).

P.S. I'm hoping I have my blog comment issue resolved.

  20. Thank you all so much for your sweet comments! What a blessing each one was to read and how they brightened up my day. It was so nice to hear from so many of those reading!

I wasn’t quite expecting comments like you all left, though :) . . . what you all shared was so encouraging . . . and humbling. Thank you so much!

I have looked forward to replying to you all, and had hoped to have all of your comments replied to before now, but things have been an adventure in ‘goat world’ for us the past few days (which I hope to share more about in a post soon.) Kidding time is just around the corner (beginning of next week!), and we are in full preparation for it!

  21. You described that beautifully, Amy . . . I love the changing season as well – when one moves into the next. Especially the change between winter and spring. Though your favorite of autumn is lovely as well! And probably my second favorite time of year. :)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thank you so much for your sweet comment, Anna! Likewise, you have been a blessing to me in so many ways. I found myself echoing you “has it really been over three years?” You might be the ‘oldest’ reader this blog has! :)

I know what you mean about winter! I am sure it is much more mild in North Carolina over Vermont. It probably doesn’t even feel like the same season! Fall is indeed lovely . . . the beautiful fall colors, the crisp mornings, the delicious feeling in the air . . . though, with all its delights, it still comes in second to spring for me!

Thank you again, Anna, and may you have a very blessed day as well! I look forward to getting to know you better this coming year, too!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thank you, Agnes! I didn’t know that you were even still reading. :) It was a pleasant (and welcome!) surprise to receive your comment. Thank you! I had lost track of your blog address, but I will be adding it now to the blogs that I follow. I look forward to seeing your posts about your crafting!

Your summer season in northern Europe sounds delightful . . . especially such easy access to delicious fresh produce. :) Fewer layers of clothing are also a plus!

    ReplyDelete
  24. It is always so nice to hear from you, Suze, and thank you for your comment! It made me smile to read how you are looking forward to continuing reading for years to come . . . I look forward to sharing!

That makes sense that winter would be the best time of year where you live. I would imagine that Australia’s seasons would be much different than what I am used to. That must be nice that you are having a much cooler summer! It seems funny to think, though, that while you are in summer, we are in winter. :) I hope that the milder trend continues for you!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Likewise, Mrs. Anne, it has been wonderful getting to know you as well! I have really enjoyed it. :) And thank you for your sweet words of encouragement! They warmed my heart . . . it is wonderful how we can be a mutual encouragement to one another . . . in turn, your love for the Lord has been encouraging to me, and your amazing talent with crafts is always inspiring.

Your favorite season is mine as well! I love spring . . . but then, Missouri springs are so lovely, and I am already looking forward to it again!

Blessings in Christ to you and yours!

  26. Thank you, Bethany! It has been a real treat getting to know you (and your sisters :) as well! Your sweet spirit, love for the Lord and love for your family are all such a blessing. You also seem like a little ray of sunshine so that whenever there is a comment from you or a new post up on your blog, it just brightens up my day!

It seems like Autumn is continuing in its popularity as the favorite season! It is a wonderful one . . . though, it ranks second to spring for me. :)

May you and your family have a blessed year as well, Bethany! I have been praying for you all. (((hugs)))

    ReplyDelete
  27. It was good to hear from you here, Anya! I didn’t realize that you were reading my blog :) . . . thank you for commenting!

So far, you are the first for having summer as a favorite season. :) I can see why you like it as it is a beautiful one! Plus, as you shared, barbecues that time of year are so fun, too. If I could just turn the temperature down on it a bit, it would probably rank up there with spring for me or maybe even surpass it. But the heat and humidity here in Missouri can be a little much in summertime!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement, Shannon! They brought tears to my eyes as I read. I could in turn say the same for you . . . your sincere love for the Lord and His Word and your desire to serve Him are so encouraging . . . and inspiring, especially for one your age. You have been a blessing to me in many ways! May the Lord continue to guide and direct your steps as you continue to strive to walk in His ways, sweet sister!

You are the first to have winter as a favorite season. :) It is a pleasant change from the hot weather, isn’t it? Enjoy!

  29. Welcome to my blog, Anne, and thank you for leaving a comment! It was so nice to see a comment from you and to ‘meet’ you. It’s always a treat to hear from readers who are commenting for the first time. :) I am glad that you enjoy the posts and thank you for your encouraging words!

I would imagine that spring in Northern Ireland would be lovely. It’s such a treat seeing the brown and barrenness of winter break forth into the fresh green of spring!

  30. Thank you so much for your encouraging comment, Betsy! That is my heart's great desire . . . to be fully surrendered to the Lord in everything - in all aspects of my life, striving to please Him in all that I do. It seems to be a continual learning and growing process and one that there is still much room for growth in!

I had wondered how long you had been reading . . . for some reason, it felt like you had been there from about the beginning. :) But I guess it isn’t quite that long! I am glad that you have enjoyed it so much both seeing new posts and catching up on the archives. And likewise, I always enjoy your comments!

Just your description of Autumn is enough to make one love the season. :) It sounds so delightful! And from practical experience, it certainly is. As you shared, it is interesting to see how the different seasons can so closely parallel the different seasons of our lives. Yes, they are another one of God’s word pictures, and wonderful ones!

  31. Oh, Miss Lila! What a treat it was to hear from you again!! I still think of you from time to time and wonder how you are doing, and then seeing your familiar face in the comment box brought a big smile to my face. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and also for your sweet and encouraging words!

I had no idea that you were reading so regularly. :) I am glad that you enjoy it so much!

Congratulations about your coming grandchild!! I am excited for you all! All of your 10, and now 11 :), grandchildren are blessed to have you as their grandmother. I can just imagine how much they are loved and what wonderful times you all have together!

Lord willing, I do plan on continuing to blog . . . for how long, I don’t know, but I don’t have plans for stopping any time soon. :) So I hope you enjoy continuing to read!

Your p.s. made me smile. :) Whenever we use the tea items that you sent, or in fact, whenever I see them even if it is when they are just in the box, I always think of you. Once again, what a blessing (and a continued one) that was!

    Thank you again so much!

  32. Thank you for your sweet comment, Amber! I didn’t realize that you were still reading. :) It was a pleasant surprise to see a comment from you here!

I am glad that you enjoy the posts so much, and the ones of little Adelyn are some of my favorites to share now. I didn’t know that your sister was expecting!!! How exciting!! I am so happy for you and your family, and I know that you are going to love being an aunt. Only one more month and then you will be meeting your nephew! I do hope you will be sharing photos on your blog. :) I would love to se them!

Spring is my favorite season as well, and it sounds like we have similar reasons for it being so . . . everything springing forth new and coming to life again and then also the mutual love for gardening. I am already looking forward to gardening season as I have so many ideas to try!

Blessings to you as well, Amber, and thank you again for commenting!

  33. Thank you for your comment, Shannah! And welcome. :) I am so glad that the girls group has been able to be an inspiration to you as you teach your daughters. How blessed they are to have a mother who desires to teach them in the ways of the Lord!

Thank you for your kind words . . . and yes, this little blog has been much more far-reaching than I ever dreamed it would be when I began. What a blessing blogging has been and being able to meet so many dear people!

Fall is a wonderful season, isn’t it? And oh yes, campfires and smores . . . definitely a special fall treat. :) And for you, fall would be even more special with all of your children being born during that season!

Thank you again for your encouraging comment!

  34. Welcome to my blog, Helena! And thank you for your sweet comment. :) It was so nice to hear from you and to 'meet' you! And what you shared blessed my heart to read . . . I am so glad that the little bit that is shared here can be uplifting to you.

Autumn would be so beautiful in Canada what with all of the trees changing colors! To be honest, though, I can’t imagine what a Canadian winter would be like. :) Cold! But it must be amazing what with all of the snow during those months. I can understand why you would like it!

    Thank you again for commenting!

  35. Thank you so much, Lisa, for your sweet comment! And it was fun hearing what posts you enjoy the most . . . those are some of my favorite types of posts to share. Maybe because they hold the most special memories!

We sound much alike when it comes to our liking of spring . . . gardening, green, birds, enjoying the soft warm sunshine . . . happy sigh. I’m already starting to look forward to spring and winter has barely started!

    Thank you again!

  36. Thank you, Lynda! I would imagine that Tasmania would be a beautiful place . . . and your autumn/fall sounds lovely. Cool weather surely is nice, isn’t it?

Before this winter, I would have said that I would have a hard time imagining a wet winter as ours are generally snow and ice! But so far, ours has been wet, too. :) Our spring is lovely, though, and it is my favorite of the seasons!

    Thank you again!

  37. Thank you for your comment, Leah! I, too, am glad that you stumbled across my blog, as it has been enjoyable getting to know you. I always enjoy the comments that you leave! It was interesting hearing how you came to find my blog, too . . . through looking for Bible cover instructions!

It made me smile to hear how much you are looking forward to future posts. :) Likewise, I look forward to sharing!

Summer is a wonderful season! (even if it can get a little hot :) And camping and going on vacations are so much fun!

That’s fine for you to ask that question, Leah, and I am happy to answer! I actually do not have any devotional books that I will be reading per se, but this coming year, I would like to read several more of the books that I have by Andrew Murray that I have not yet read, as well as Keys to the Deeper Life by A. W. Tozer, and then I will probably be reading Kept for the Master’s Use again as well. And I am not sure yet what other ones will be read in addition to these. :) I hope that helps to answer your question!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Likewise, Amanda! It has been a great blessing getting to know you through blogging. I love visiting your blog as I always find it so encouraging and inspiring!

Fall is a delightful season . . . I can see why you like it so much. :) It comes in a very close second to spring for me!

  39. Thank you, Rachel, and thank you for your sweet comment! I hope that what is shared here will continue to be a blessing to you! And thank you so much for your encouraging words.

You sound like me when it comes to seasons . . . Autumn and spring are both such wonderful ones, but spring has always held the favorite spot for me. It’s such a wonderful one! I love seeing everything coming to life again after a long, brown (or white :), cold winter, and then as you shared, it is gardening time! Something I always look forward to. I hope that gardening goes very well for you this spring! I don’t know if I am a very accomplished gardener, but I would be happy to share what tips I can this spring. I will try to remember to do that!

Thank you for working to make it possible for me (and other blogger users :) to be able to comment on your blog! I look forward to continuing to read your posts, and hopefully be able to comment on them!

  40. Happy "blogoversary", Sarah! Your blog has been a blessing and encouragement to me ever since I first found it when I was dipping my toes into blogging... which seems a long time ago now! It has been lovely getting to know you more through your blog posts, and though I don't always find time to comment, I do read and enjoy them!

I like all the seasons – each has its own beauty! However, when it comes to choosing a favourite season, I think spring would have to be my favourite! It is so fresh and new – and the warmer weather is always so nice after the coldness of winter.

    Blessings,
    Anna

Your blog has been an encouragement to me, and I feel like I "know" you so well even though we've never met! I think I've been reading for 2 to 3 years, and I look forward to many more!

My favorite season is definitely summer time. I enjoy the warmth and sunshine, working in the garden, listening to the birds, and having everything be green. I love going swimming, watching fireworks on the 4th of July, and having bonfires and cookouts!

  43. I can't wait to hear about your 'goat world'. I hope it will be soon. Are you saying that the goats will have kids soon? I hope you will take pictures and show it to us! :)

Thank you for answering my question about what kind of books you are reading. I find it interested to hear/read about each person's walk of faith with God and how they do it!

  44. Thank you, Anna, for your sweet comment! I am so glad that you found my blog as not only do I enjoy and appreciate the comments you leave here, but your blog is such an encouragement and inspiration to me. And come to think of it, I think you might be one of the ‘oldest readers’ here as well. I remember when I was first telling my parents about “a sweet girl from England” who started commenting on my blog. :)

I would agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments about spring! I feel the same way. What a wonderful season it is with everything springing to life again!

  45. Thank you for your kind words, Miss Linda! And thank you so much for stopping by again and leaving a comment. I have been thinking about you lately, and it was so nice to hear from you. You, too, have been a blessing to me in many ways . . . thank you!

  46. Thank you, Bianca! It has been a real pleasure getting to know you as well . . . I am glad that you started blogging! Isn’t it funny how even if people have never met in person, they can become friends and get to know one another simply through blogging? It’s a great avenue for meeting others and building long distance friendships!

Just reading your description is making me look forward to summer again . . . I really enjoy that season. We generally have fairly nice summers, though this past one was an exception! I can imagine how much fun you all must have with your bonfires and cookouts . . . not only are they fun, but they would make great family memories!

  47. I have a post about the goats that I plan to be posting about soon, Leah! And yes, the goats should be having their kids very soon . . . we’re thinking Monday for one of them and then the other will be induced on Monday (the reasons for that will be in the post.) And yes, I will be sharing photos once the kids arrive!

You’re welcome for sharing about the books!

  48. Sarah,

Congratulations on four years of blogging! It seems that I am a little late to post, but have been away from home and unable to comment from my phone due to the word verification not appearing properly. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your various postings whenever I get the opportunity. I need to comment more. It is a joy to read of another young lady who has so many similar ambitions and interests as I do. I have noted so many recipes, projects, and household tips from your postings!
My favorite season would most certainly be a toss up between Spring and Summer. I adore the newness and rebirth of nature that takes place as Spring emerges...I also feel renewed! However, Summer's provision is simply amazing. I enjoy the long days outdoors immensely, and the colors of summer are so vibrant. Even with our unusually mild winter currently (truely a blessing), I long for the days spent out in the gardens tending to the flowers and vegitables, long morning walks with my dog, and late evenings outdoors enjoying meals and fellowship with friends and family.

  49. Congratulations, Sarah, on four years of blogging! I hope you have many more wonderful years of blogging ahead. I, for one, have been so very blessed by your posts and always look forward to reading the things you share.

It's been such a tremendous blessing to get to know you origionally through your blog (and now through emails, too :). Thank you so very much for your friendship, Sarah!

In answer to your question about which is my favorite season...the answer is fall. I enjoy the cool weather after a long hot winter, long walks in the crisp morning air, beautiful leaves and the crunching sound when you walk on them, hot apple cider, pumpkin bread, and Thanksgiving day! Plus, the colors of the season fit my style entirely :)

Nonetheless, all the seasons are amazing each in their own way, and I love the testimony that they are to the faithfulness of God!

Do tell me what your favorite season is, too!

Thank you, also, for your prayers for our family, Sarah! I apprecaite it so much!

    Love and blessings,

  50. Congrats again for your anniversary! :o) What a blessing you have been! :o) I believe that my favorite season is fall. And my reason being I always forget how beautiful it is until the next year and am always encouraged with the beautiful pictures God is able to paint with simple leaves! :o) Oh and I live in Tennessee ;o)

  51. The girls and I are split between Spring and Fall. Both are lovely in Tennessee. Sarah, I want to thank you again for being an inspiration to my girls. We so appreciate your posts.

  52. Thank you for your comment, Renee! It was so nice to hear from you, and I am glad that you enjoy the posts that are shared here! Likewise, it was encouraging for me to read what you shared, and to ‘meet’ another young lady who has, as you shared, similar interests and ambitions. I look forward to possibly seeing more comments here from you and getting to know you better! :)

I enjoyed reading how you described spring and summer . . . they are both such wonderful seasons! And I had to smile with what you said about even despite the mild winter, longing for those spring and summer days. I have been feeling much the same way lately for much the same reasons as you shared . . . and day by day springtime is getting closer!

    Thank you again!

  53. Thank you so much for your sweet comment, Amy! It warmed my heart to read . . . and thank you so much for your friendship during these years. It has been wonderful to see how it has grown and developed and I am thankful to the Lord for you! You have been a great blessing and encouragement to me in my own walk with the Lord. Thank you for the bright light that you are!

Fall is a delightful season, isn’t it? And I love all the things that you described it by . . . it almost makes me wish fall was around the corner instead of spring. :) But I’d rather have the springtime! That is my favorite season as I love seeing everything coming to life again, and it is gardening time and much more. I am so looking forward to it this year!

I would agree, each of the season are amazing, and yes, a testimony to God’s faithfulness. And in each one, we can see His hand.

    You are most welcome, Amy!

Love and blessings to you as well!

  54. Thank you, Nabila, for your kind comment! It seems like fall is the most popular season. :) And I can see why! It is a lovely one, and the colors are so beautiful - and especially where you live. It must be simply glorious in the fall. Though, I have to say that I would still prefer springtime over fall. :) That is my favorite of the seasons, though fall comes in close as second!

  55. Thank you for your encouraging comment, Bontekoes! And I am so glad that what is shared here has been able to be blessing.

Both spring and fall are lovely seasons, aren’t they? And it can be hard choosing a favorite between them. :) Though, spring still has fall edged out by just a bit for me! I love springtime.

Thank you again for your comment as it was nice to hear from you again!

  56. Hi! I think I found your blog through "Young Christian Bloggers" but I'm not completely sure. :) I added you to my "favorites" and stop by every so often. My favorite season is definately summer! My birthday is in July, so that probably has had something to do with it over the years, but I also enjoy the warmth and sunshine!

Summer is a wonderful season! And especially for those with summer birthdays like you. :) My sister has a summer birthday as well, though hers is in August. The warmth and sunshine are also nice!
