Last weekend, Ryan, Ashley and Gracen were all sick (thankfully they're all better now!) so to help them out and give them an opportunity to get more rest, Adelyn came and stayed with us! We had such a wonderful time with her! She is so sweet, and over the time she was with us, it was such a delight to hear her little feet pattering on the floor, her ringing laughter as we played with her, her arms outstretched to give us hugs, her adorable chatter, her radiant smiles, and so much more. What a precious, precious blessing she is!
Playing the piano together . . . she really loves doing this! Sometimes she'll use just one finger from each hand to push the keys, and then all of a sudden both hands come down in a rather dramatic effect as you can imagine. :) When watching her, it looks like she's really trying to play! In fact, she'll even stop and turn the page of the music that we have open on the piano and then resume playing. I think she's a budding pianist. :) (She had just had her bath when this photo was taken so that's why her hair is wet.)
Signing 'please' shortly before bedtime (I can't remember what she was asking for, though!) She has learned well the signs for 'please' and 'thank you' and uses them often. It is so cute!
Reading the "Creation" Magazine with her Grandpa . . . she was fascinated by it!
Coloring with her Grandma!
This excited face is because her Grandpa just asked her "do you want to go outside?" :) Here, he's putting her shoes on right before going out. She loves to be outdoors!
Having fun together!
Enjoying time together before Dad and Mom brought her home.
Playing with Aunt Leah . . . and enjoying it quite a bit, I think!
What a wonderful two days this was!

How sweet she is!
So sweet! I know you all enjoyed her visit. She looks a lot like her Aunt Sarah. :-)
Blessings to you,

She is adorable! It's such a fun age:). Looks like you all really enjoyed the time together.
awwww! Such love! She's a privileged little girl to have such a family, and she's beautiful too. Smiles all around :)
(my oldest niece turns 7 next Sunday, I can't wait to see her and her little sister again! And thanks so much for your email, I will reply but not too soon so you don't have to owe me again right away!)
Elizabeth ~ she is indeed!
Mrs. Anne ~ We did very much so! She does a bit in these photos, doesn’t she?! :)
Emily ~ It is indeed a fun age! And yes, we did. :)
Rena ~ Thank your sweet comment! We are so blessed to have her as a part of our family. I hope that you have a wonderful time with your nieces! Being an aunt is wonderful, isn’t it? That is so considerate of you, but please do feel free to write whenever you like! I look forward to hearing from you. :)
I'm glad you and your family had a special time with Adelyn for couple days! Little nieces are so special are they? Few weeks ago, I babysat my 1 1/2 yr. old niece for about an hour while her mom went to pick up her boys. So for about 40 minutes, she laid her head on my shoulder and right by my neck and cried and then she fell asleep. That was really special to me!
Have a Merry Christmas Sarah!
How sweet, and what special times!
Leah ~ They are so special! That is wonderful that you were able to babysit your niece . . . it sounds like your time with her was so sweet and special. Don't you love when they fall asleep in your arms?!
Joy ~ Yes, indeed! :)
