Finished!

Awhile ago, the actual crocheting was completed on the afghan I was making, and then came weaving in all the loose yarn ends (of which there were a lot!) . . . .

The last ones were woven in today which means the afghan is finished!

Now onto other projects . . . . :)

  1. WOW, Sarah ~ it's absolutely beautiful! It looks very large too! Long enough to cover up from head to toe. Enjoy!

    1. Thank you, Anne! It is fairly large. . . big enough to cover a twin sized bed which is the minimum size I like to make afghans. That way they can work for a 'blanket', too!

  3. Your afghan is beautiful!! Weaving in the ends of a project is my least favorite part, and I am sure it took quite a while to weave in so many ends. The last picture is so pretty with the rocking chair and afghan outside!

    1. Thank you, Sarah! Ah yes, weaving in the ends isn't nearly as fun as the actual crocheting, is it? I still enjoy it, though. :) And yes, it did take awhile . . . there were a lot of them!

    1. Thank you, Sue! Well, one next project is putting cane seats in a few chairs. I'm also getting the 'itch' to piece together another quilt top . . . maybe this winter!

  6. That is just beautiful Sarah. I know about ends. A few years ago I made myself a huge blanket for a king size bed. Every year I pull it out and shudder as I find yet more ends.

Congratulations on a job well done.

    1. Thank you, Suze! How nice that you made yourself a blanket as well . . and king size would take quite awhile! It must be so satisfying to be able to enjoy it every year (even if you do keep finding ends. :) Hopefully no more will appear!)
